January 11 Second Club

This was my entry for January's 11 second club. I feel this is more of a first draft than the final product. There are a few things that need to be tweaked, and added. I'll do that soon, and have the final animation posted sometime this month.

I really enjoy this site. It's filled with concept designs and sketches from various disney features. Although it's done in french, its filled with incrediable images, plus clips from the animation tour in paris.

Inspiration Monday

Its been quite some time since I posted images and video for inspiration mondays, but I'm going to try and post these up again for those lazy Mondays. Check out this blog by a young Pixar artist by the name of Chris Chua. Chris has some really nice drawings and quick sketches. When you have a chance, check out his animation, which you'll find a link at the right side of his blog. His animation shows why he now works at Pixar. Great storytelling, and acting...in 2d.

Conversations With Other Women

I just happened to see this movie on the movie network, and thought that it was very cool. The movie is done with a split screen, so that you get to see the character and their reactions during their entire conversations. I dont know how many movies have done this before, but I thought it was a very clever idea.
